Wow here we are again- a garbage strike and all parks and rec services strike.
Bermondsey is open 7 /24 but I can tell you it is not worth it. It takes forever to get into the facility. Each car has to wait at least 10 minutes , so it takes 40 -75 minutes, no fun ! The long delays on the picket line should be ileagal and not allowed. A 25 second delay would be ok and the garbage should beput into massive containers and trucked out ! I have been taking my waste up to Markham once per week to a bin that is at my office ( for which I pay a monthly fee ).
My son who was to take the life guarding course this week at the Don Mills school pool - cancelled - now his summer job as a lifeguard may be cancelled , my daughters tennis camp - cancelled ... are we having fun yet !! If you have any idea's or tips post or email : mdosman@trebnet.com
I have provided some contact information for your use , please call and complain ... ( probably not get an answer ! )
