VVCA safe place

Hi All,
I got the crime statistics sent to me from CPAC:
Crime Prevention Association of Toronto
416-225-1102, www.cpatoronto.org

Of the hundreds of break and entries and robberies reports , only 2 were in Victoria Village since Jan . 2009
Of course many more were in the Bannatyne, Don Mills, Leslie , and Scarborough neiboiurhoods next to us.

This is the lowest we had for awhile- which is great news !!
Over all there are allot more robberies occurring , the majority are at night 9 pm - 2 am , on the street, only one was armed and none of the victims were hurt.
( cash , cell phones , ipods .. )
November 18 we had 7 cars broken into late at night - some of the cars were not locked ....

Keep safe as we enter the Christmas season, using timer lights and making sure to lock everything , and keep an eye out for your neighbour...
