"An update on our play-scape: It has come to the board’s and the city’s attention that the play-scape is partially on city property. This week surveyors came to survey the school’s property. From our meeting with the planning department we learned that the city does not want our play-scape on their property. After the survey is finalized, then the planning department will propose a design to replace it. They have warned us that due to the high costs of these types of projects, the replacement will not be as large as what we had and most likely it will need to be in another spot that is not on city property. Lastly, the fence around the play-scape is an increasing hazard and a work order has been put in by the board to have the play-scape and fence removed.
